I run.
And ride my bike.
I had been a gymnast for basically the first 20 years of my life but post-college I slowly fell more and more out of shape. After struggling through a 5 mile Turkey Trot in 2011, I decided to make a new year's resolution and start exercising again. I set a goal to run a half marathon that year and started training in early January. Four months (and nearly 30 pounds lost!) later, I ran the Capital City half marathon in 2:09:59. After that, I was hooked. Running became my very best form of therapy and I've never looked back. While I was nursing an injury I started riding my bike more and completed my first duathlon in May 2013. I've now run four half marathons, one full marathon and hope to start swimming so I can get into triathlons in 2014.
Finally (and maybe most importantly) my cats are really cute.
